What is an advanced composite material?
Advanced composite materials are engineered by combining strong reinforcing fibers such as carbon, glass, or aramid with a binding matrix like epoxy, thermoplastic, or ceramic. The result is a material that is exceptionally lightweight yet offers outstanding strength, stiffness, and durability compared to metals or traditional plastics. These composites are the backbone of modern aerospace structures, automotive lightweighting strategies, and hydrogen storage solutions, enabling industries to achieve higher efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Is composite meterials better than metal?
Composites often outperform metals when weight reduction, corrosion resistance, and design flexibility are critical. Unlike steel or aluminum, advanced composites combine ultra-strong fibers with lightweight matrices, delivering exceptional strength-to-weight ratios. This allows aircraft to fly farther on less fuel, vehicles to accelerate faster with improved efficiency, and hydrogen tanks to store energy safely without excessive bulk. Metals still play a vital role in industry, but when innovation demands lighter, stronger, and longer-lasting structures, composites provide the smarter choice.

Hot-Melt UD Tape Line
Thermoplastic
The line is designed to produce unidirectional (UD) thermoplastic tapes, where continuous fibers (carbon, glass, or aramid) are impregnated with thermoplastic resin using a hot-melt process. The result is lightweight, high-strength UD tapes ideal for automotive.

Prepreg Machine
Thermoset
The equipment produces thermoset prepregs, where fibers are impregnated with epoxy, BMI, or other thermoset resins. The machine ensures accurate resin content and fiber alignment, creating prepreg rolls that are later cured in an autoclave or press.

Resin Coating Machine
Thermoset
This machine coats release paper with epoxy resin to create a thin resin film, also known as a filmer. In composite manufacturing, this film is the first step in producing prepregs or fabric prepregs, where continuous fibers are later impregnated with the resin layer.

Towpreg Machine
Impregnation
The machine impregnates individual fiber tows with thermoplastic or thermoset resin, producing towpregs that combine precise resin content with excellent fiber alignment. Towpregs are widely used in filament winding, enabling aerospace, and hydrogen energy sectors to build lightweight, high-strength structures with repeatable quality.

Double Belt Press Machine
Sandwich panels
The double belt press provides continuous heat and pressure to consolidate layered materials into thermoplastic composite panels or sandwich panels. It ensures uniform thickness, smooth surfaces, and stable mechanical performance across large areas. This process is essential for producing automotive panels.

Slitter Rewinder Machine
UD tape & prepreg
The machine precisely slits and rewinds wide rolls of UD tape or prepreg into narrower formats required for AFP, ATL, or downstream processing. With accurate tension control and clean edge quality, it guarantees that slit tapes meet the strict tolerances demanded in aerospace.
