Larte Design has revealed a new carbon fiber styling package for the BMW X7, giving the full-size luxury SUV a far more aggressive appearance while retaining its diesel-powered xDrive40d identity.
Although the first-generation BMW X7 is nearing the end of its lifecycle, the tuning market continues to find demand for visual upgrades that make the large SUV stand out.
Dry carbon fiber exterior upgrades
The latest Larte Design package adds several autoclave-cured dry carbon fiber components to the BMW X7.
The upgrades include:
- front chin spoiler
- lower front bumper attachments
- side skirts
- rear diffuser
- carbon fiber exterior detailing
- quad round exhaust tips
According to Larte Design, the parts are hand-polished after curing, reinforcing the premium aftermarket positioning of the kit.
The rear diffuser is one of the most noticeable changes, giving the X7 a sportier stance while replacing the factory-style exhaust trim with four round tailpipes.
Still an xDrive40d underneath
Despite the more aggressive exterior, this BMW X7 remains an xDrive40d.
That means it uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six diesel engine producing:
- 335 hp
- 700 Nm of torque
- 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds
While the diesel X7 is not available in the U.S. market, it remains part of the European lineup, including Germany.

The X7 is normally positioned as a large luxury family SUV rather than a performance-style vehicle.
