Allroadracer TriX Combines Carbon Fiber, Tilting Suspension and E-Bike Technology

German startup Allroadracer has unveiled the TriX, a unique carbon fiber electric trike that blends recumbent cycling, advanced suspension and tilting-wheel technology into a lightweight off-road capable platform.

Currently in preproduction, the TriX was recently showcased at the Spezi International Special Bikes Show and is designed to offer a riding experience unlike conventional bicycles or trikes.

A carbon fiber chassis built around the rider

One of the most distinctive features of the TriX is its telescoping carbon fiber tube frame.

The boom-style carbon fiber structure houses the drivetrain internally and can extend to accommodate different rider sizes.

Additional frame components are manufactured from aluminum, while the carbon fiber tube serves as both a structural and functional element.

According to Allroadracer, the complete vehicle weighs approximately:

This approach would simplify shipping and assembly while reducing drivetrain maintenance requirements.
