Layup Parts Raises $42 Million to Bring Amazon-Style Speed to Composite Manufacturing

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Composite manufacturing startup Layup Parts has secured $42 million in Series A funding as it seeks to modernize one of the most labor-intensive segments of advanced manufacturing: custom carbon fiber and fiberglass part production.

The funding round was led by Marlinspike, with participation from Cerberus Ventures, Pinegrove Venture Partners, Founders Fund, and Lux Capital. The investment follows a $9 million seed round raised approximately two years ago and brings total disclosed funding to more than $50 million.
