The 2025 edition, the 28th in its series, was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, a venue known for hosting some of Asia’s largest industrial shows. Across three dynamic days, exhibitors showcased the next generation of lightweight and sustainable materials — from high-strength carbon fiber to thermoplastic composites designed for hydrogen, aerospace, and electric vehicle systems. The show floor featured over 800 exhibitors, drawing an estimated 30,000 professional attendees and covering 66,000 square meters of exhibition space.
One of the most anticipated highlights is the CCE–JEC Innovation Awards, jointly organized with France’s JEC Group. These awards spotlight breakthroughs in raw materials, new applications, and advanced manufacturing technologies. The 2025 winners included recyclable thermoset wind blades, thermoplastic prepregs, graphene-enhanced pipeline systems, and automated fiber placement software — all pointing toward a more efficient, intelligent, and circular composites industry.
